Earth Day Houston, developed by Air Alliance Houston, is the Houston area’s premier celebration of our planet at Discovery Green. The date of the festival is Saturday, April 11, 2015.
Earth Day Houston is less than two months away. We are seeking an unpaid intern who wants to acquire valuable career-relevant skills in event management, marketing, business management, sales and project management.
Start Date: Immediately End Date: May 1, 2015 Hours: Varied and Flexible, dependent upon your schedule and your internship goals
You will be working directly with our Development Director, Sara Heald. Sara has over 10 years of event management experience including restaurant (Emeril’s restaurant in New Orleans,) Destination Management (DMI New Orleans, Visit New Orleans, and Destination Services Colorado,) Hotel Site Selection (HelmsBriscoe,) and is entering her 4th year as the Festival Director for Earth Day Houston. Sara is interested in working closely with an individual who wants to pursue a career in event management and would benefit from hands-on learning.
