In response to COVID-19 (coronavirus) and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other government agencies, Discovery Green Conservancy has cancelled or postponed all events scheduled in the park through May 15.
The Citizens’ Environmental Coalition and Discovery Green Conservancy have determined the best course of action for Earth Day Houston at Discovery Green is to not host the event on April 19, 2020 at the park.
We are exploring the possibility of either rescheduling the event for November 8, 2020, or cancelling the event until April 2021. We will let you know as soon as plans have been finalized.
In the meantime, we are sending notices to exhibitors, sponsors, and volunteers about the decision.
